2017 was a great year at Green Point Cottage and in Prince Edward County in general. The County’s reputation continues to spread and had several notable visitors this year, including Sophie and Justin Trudeau for a weekend escape and Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall who came to see the County’s hugely successful agri (wine!)-tourism business.
We added some new features to Green Point Cottage in 2017, including an outdoor living room under the old oak facing the lake. Amazing shade and great views. We also added additional seating on the dock and in the front shade garden. A second seating area in the living room was also set up to help accommodate large groups and to take advantage of the great lake views. We also installed a large Weber BBQ to make bbq’ing easier for big groups and, last but not least, we added to the water toys collection!
Looking forward to the colours of Fall and the peace (and ice fishing) of winter!
